➤„The Hameau de la Reine (The Queen's Hamlet) is a rustic retreat in the park of the Château de Versailles built for Marie Antoinette in 1783 near the Petit Trianon in Yvelines, France. It served as a private meeting place for the Queen and her closest friends, a place of leisure. Designed by the Queen's favoured architect, Richard Mique with the help of the painter Hubert Robert, it contained a meadowland with lakes and streams, a classical Temple of Love on an island with fragrant shrubs and flowers, an octagonal belvedere, with a neighbouring grotto and cascade. There are also various buildings in a rustic or vernacular style, inspired by Norman or Flemish design, situated around an irregular pond fed by a stream that turned a mill wheel. The Palace & Gardens of Versailles as a template for capital city design from Washington D.C through to the current day. Washington D.C (District of Columbia) the capital city of the USA. Canberra A.C.T (Australian Capital Territory) the capital city of Australia. Brasilia F.D (Federal District) the capital city of Brazil. Astana- Akmola Province, the capital city of Kazakhstan. 4 capital cities spread across the continennts, cultures and eras yet still intricately linked. All sharing the same template with the Versailles Palace and Gardens. From city plans and architecture through to unique political structures and age old symbolism. Each of them is repeated across the very special capital city designs of Washington, Canberra, Brasilia and Astana. Cities built upon GEOMANCY and other esoteric principles, explainable perhaps for 18th century or early 20th century Canberra however Brasilia and in particular internet age Astana do not fit the mould.Yet Norman Foster and his colleagues have designed Astana as all but carbon copy of Washington, Canberra, Brasilia and Versailles. Cities of ancient symbolism and proportion. Versailles is clearly the inspiration for these cities, with the architects and designers of Washington very much discussing their admiration of the Versailles design. However Versailles is not the original, that extends back much further. Back to the ancient temples the Renaissance artists and architects so feverishly studied to perfect their own art and temples. The Hermetic secrets are plain to see, architects such as Walter Burley Griffin and Oscar Niemeyer been directly linked to the City Beautiful Movement or its heirs. Including Theosophical, Freemasonic, Rosicrucian and other such societies. A trail that leads back to the Renaissance and eruption of Hermeticism - Esoteric streams. Which themselves can be traced back through to the Middle East and Northern Africa. It is no trifling thing that these city plans share so much. Given this "fashion" crosses so much time, culture and distant lands. Nations and eras that should share very little and yet still echo each other so clearly for more than two centuries and the continents. More than coincidence and more than an irrelevance given so many of the wise and powerful have, and are still, investing so much into these city templates. Billions of dollars spent and still ticking just in Astana alone.

If you’re looking for a home that combines the quality and style of a classic with a modern sense of design and layout, look no further than the Versailles. The spacious and light-filled foyer welcomes you with a sense of openness. A living room provides a formal reception area; or choose the French-door study for a work-from-home aesthetic that’s never stuffy. A dining room is defined by a column, so it retains its formal appeal without feeling closed off. The first floor hall area draws you back towards the rear of the home, where an open plan, two-story family room, kitchen and dinette form today’s new “social triangle” so that you never feel too far away from the action. The kitchen is generous and open over a large rectangular island with plenty of seating and prep area. A service wing off the kitchen leads to an indispensable family entry area that boasts a large closet, optional arrival center and planning desk, and a huge pantry. On the other side of the house sits a first floor bedroom with full bath, and a covered porch that brings the outside in. Upstairs the practical luxury continues with a huge open loft that provides a second floor living area. Or choose to make this a bonus room or bonus bedroom with its own bath. The owner’s suite is a private retreat and features dual walk-in closets, a sitting area and standard tray ceiling. The owner’s bath has dual vanities, an oversized shower and compartmentalized toilet. Or opt for the soaking tub for a spa experience at home. The secondary bedrooms are huge and each features a walk-in closet. A coveted second floor laundry rounds out the floor. Places to see in ( Versailles - France ) Palace of Versailles The Palace of Versailles, or simply Versailles, is a royal château in Versailles in the Île-de-France region of France. It is now open as a museum and is a very popular tourist attraction. When the château was built, the community of Versailles was a small village dating from the 11th century. Today, however, it is a wealthy suburb of Paris, some 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of the centre of the French capital. Versailles was the seat of political power in the Kingdom of France from 1682, when King Louis XIV moved the royal court from Paris, until the royal family was forced to return to the capital in October 1789, within three months after the beginning of the French Revolution. Versailles is therefore famous not only as a building, but as a symbol of the system of absolute monarchy of the Ancien Régime. Especially under Louis XIV, the senior nobility were pressured to spend large amounts of time at Versailles, as a form of political control. Louis XIV evolved a rigid routine of court life as a performance, much of which took place in front of large groups of people, at some points in the day including tourists. Building the château and maintaining the court there was phenomenally expensive, but did a good deal to establish the dominance of French style and taste in the whole of Europe, giving French luxury manufacturing advantages that long outlasted the fall of the Ancien Régime. Louis XIV's expansion of the building was begun around 1661, with Louis Le Vau as architect. It was not completed until about 1715, having been worked on by architects including François d'Orbay, Charles Le Brun (interiors especially), Jules Hardouin-Mansart and Robert de Cotte. André Le Nôtre began the gardens and structures in them. There were a range of satellite buildings around the grounds. While the main château building remains essentially intact, though without much of its contents, some of these other buildings have been destroyed. Evolving with the château, the gardens of Versailles represent one of the finest extant examples of the jardin à la française created by André Le Nôtre. Located in proximity to the château, these smaller structures served the needs of the royal family and court officials during the Ancien Régime. They include the Ménagerie royale (1664), demolished; the Trianon de porcelaine (1670), demolished; the Grand Trianon or Trianon de marbre (Marble Trianon) (1689); the Petit Trianon (1768); and the Pavillon de la Lanterne (1787), a hunting lodge. The Galerie des Glaces (Hall of Mirrors), is perhaps the most celebrated room in the château of Versailles. The length of the gallery is more than 70 metres (230 ft) and there are 17 wide arcaded mirrors. Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun painted 30 scenes as a testimony of early reign years of Louis XIV on the ceiling. Setting for many of the ceremonies of the French Court during the Ancien Régime, the Galerie des Glaces has also inspired numerous copies and renditions throughout the world. Ange-Jacques Gabriel's Royal Opera (Opéra Royal) was perhaps the most ambitious building project of Louis XV for the château of Versailles. Completed in 1770, the Opéra was inaugurated at the time of the wedding festivities of Louis XV's grandson, the Dauphin, future Louis XVI, and Marie-Antoinette. On October 1789, a banquet for royal guardsmen was held in this place. The Opera served as a host to the National Assembly from 1871 until 1875 when the Third Republic was proclaimed. The building scheme included a farmhouse, (the farm was to produce milk and eggs for the queen), a dairy, a dovecote, a boudoir, a barn that burned down during the French Revolution, a mill and a tower in the form of a lighthouse. Each building is decorated with a garden, an orchard or a flower garden. The largest and most famous of these houses is the "Queen's House", connected to the Billiard house by a wooden gallery, at the center of the village. A working farm was close to the idyllic, fantasy-like setting of the Queen’s Hamlet. The hameau is the best-known of a series of rustic garden constructions built at the time, notably the Prince of Condé's Hameau de Chantilly (1774–1775) which was the inspiration for the Versailles hamlet. Such model farms operating under principles espoused by the Physiocrats, were fashionable among the French aristocracy at the time. One primary purpose of the hameau was to add to the ambiance of the Petit Trianon, giving the illusion that it was deep in the countryside rather than within the confines of Versailles. The rooms at the hameau allowed for more intimacy than the grand salons at Versailles or at the Petit Trianon.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hameau_de_la_Reine ➤ Thank you for SHARE this video : https://goo.gl/E9LH8U ➤ SUBSCRIBE to my channel HERE : https://goo.gl/VObs2E Wishing you all the best! ➤FRANCE Playlist: https://goo.gl/ch9ea5 ➤PARIS Playlist: https://goo.gl/xa5e5J ➤Follow on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/adorian56/ ➤Follow on Twitter: https://goo.gl/JDiJw3 ➤Follow on Google+: https://goo.gl/VGOFrJ ➤Subscribe for more videos: https://goo.gl/VObs2E ➤Music (Lyrical Moustache) from Jukedeck - create your own at http://jukedeck.com

Amazing Palace and Garden of Versailles Music: 1812 Overture - Tchaikosvky Artist http://goo.gl/B4Duza The Palace of Versailles, Château de Versailles, or simply Versailles (English: /vɛərˈsaɪ/ vair-SY or /vərˈsaɪ/ vər-SY; French: [vɛʁsaj]), is a royal château in Versailles in the Île-de-France region of France. When the château was built, Versailles was a small village dating from the 11th century; today, however, it is a wealthy suburb of Paris, some 20 kilometres (12 miles) southwest of the centre of the French capital (point zero at square in front of Notre Dame). History Architectural history[edit] 17th century[edit] First built by Louis XIII in 1623, as a hunting lodge of brick and stone, the edifice was enlarged into a royal palace by Louis XIV. The first phase of the expansion (c. 1661–1678) was designed and supervised by the architect Louis Le Vau. It culminated in the addition of three new wings of stone (the enveloppe), which encompassed Louis XIII's original building on the north, south, and west (the garden side). After Le Vau's death in 1670, the work was taken over and completed by his assistant François d'Orbay.[1] Charles Le Brun designed and supervised the elaborate interior decoration, and André Le Nôtre landscaped the extensive Gardens of Versailles. Le Brun and Le Nôtre collaborated on the numerous fountains, and Le Brun supervised the design and installation of countless statues.[2] During the second phase of expansion of the mansion (c. 1678–1715), two enormous wings north and south of the wings flanking the Cour Royale (Royal Courtyard) were added by the architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart. He also replaced Le Vau's large terrace, facing the garden on the west, with what became the most famous room of the palace, the Hall of Mirrors. Mansart also built the Petites Écuries and Grandes Écuries (stables) across the Place d'Armes, on the eastern side of the château, and, in 1687, the Grand Trianon, or Trianon de Marbre (Marble Trianon), replacing Le Vau's 1668 Trianon de Porcelaine in the northern section of the park. Work was sufficiently advanced by 1682, that Louis XIV was able to proclaim Versailles his principal residence and the seat of the government of the Kingdom of France and also to give rooms in the palace to almost all of his courtiers. After the death of his consort Maria Theresa of Spain in 1683, Louis XIV undertook the enlargement and remodeling of the royal apartments in the original part of the palace, the former hunting lodge built by his father. The Royal Chapel of Versailles, located at the south end of the north wing, was begun by Mansart in 1688, and after his death in 1708 completed by his assistant Robert de Cotte in 1710.[3]
